Acceptance International is happy to announce that it is conducting its final 2015 two day Humanitarian Security Concepts; Acceptance, Protection and Deterrence course. This course addresses the security concept options faced by humanitarian organisations at every level.
The November course will be held in Kiev, Ukraine where International NGO's are welcome to load staff onto the course.
Numbers may be limited and we operate on a first come first served basis. (Limited places may be available for operational NGO's who do not have access to a security advisor. Please ask for details)
The Training looks in detail at each security concept, how they integrate and take priority over one another:
- The Acceptance Approach
- The Deterrence Approach
- The Protection Approach
This is the second such course we have run this year with the concept forming the fundamental basis of understanding from which every NGO should consider the security of its staff aiding successful programming.
The training of the security concepts is relevant for all staff working at every level of an organisation.
The course will be held in Kiev, Ukraine on the 26th and 27th of November 2015 in English.
A real chance to meet, learn and discuss methods of security available to your NGO.
Please note that all costs for travel and accommodation are borne by, and the sole responsibility of, the attendee or their sponsoring organisation. Food however and snacks during the course working hours are curtsey of Acceptance International.Translators are welcome to accompany the Non-English speakers.
